An unprecedented huge rally was organized under the leadership of ‘Padma Shri’ Dr. M. Mohan Babu, Chairman, Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust on 8th April 2011 in Tirupati to express solidarity to Sri Anna Hazare, the social reformer who has undertaken fast in New Delhi to create awareness on corruption and for passing Jan Lokpal Bill by the Government of India to fight against corruption and its deleterious effects on the society. A large number of students, staff and faculty of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust Institutions and other social activists in Tirupati participated in the rally.
